ACT on Health Equity is a powerful and growing national network of local public health departments, hospitals, and community-based organizations focused on creating health equity. The coalition seeks to establish a durable infrastructure sustained by private and public long-term funding that allows communities to forge and sustain well-being for all.

THE ACT
Unraveling our many health inequities is possible if we take a long-term, long-lasting approach. The Federal Health Equity For All Act will institute the infrastructure and mechanisms at the community level to locally create the conditions for durable well-being.

Long-Term Federal Funding. Create a durable federal funding mechanism under community control for health equity anchor institutions.

Critical Mass for People Power. Weave a network of health equity innovation hubs with decision-making power to design, test, implement, and disseminate actionable policies and interventions.

Pioneering Financial Tools. Build on existing, innovative financial mechanisms to unlocking public and private capital for communities to advance new health equity ideas.

Peer Learning for Innovators. Based on a peer-learning model, the national training academy will support communities, public sector agencies, and businesses to advance health equity.

Real-Time Wellness Indicators. Track wellness and determinants of health indicators as we track the economic indexes.
